Salvage 1 - Episode Guide

Salvage company sees a prospect in recovering abandoned items in space. They build a makeshift rocket and launch it amongst resistance from the government.

This premiere episode has the heroes of a spectacular moon landing in an even more unusual adventure as they search for a near-extinct monkey and discover a giant creature who is half ape and half man on a remote island. Andy Griffith is the series star.

WWII and a very special airplane are at the center of this episode. Harry makes a journey to a Burmese jungle to bring back Shangri-La Lil, the B-25 bomber he piloted in WWII.

After an earthquake, Harry and his crew try to rescue a girl trapped in a bomb shelter that is rapidly filling with water.

The team helps a stranded Andomedian visitor. After Harry outbids his competition for the purchase of a famous haunted mansion, strange, seemingly unexplainable things begin to occur at the house, which result in the Salvage crew getting the surprise of their lives.

Harry comes across a beautifully restored Bugatti that may contain a secret that requires its dismantling. Harry is torn between finding out the secret and keeping the car as is.

Harry wants to salvage a gold-plated satellite, while Skip is onboard a NASA spacecraft with a liquid nitrogen leak.

Harry needs to rescue Skip and the others on the damaged spacecraft, but Jack Klinger impounds Salvage 1.

Harry and his salvage team try to save their FBI friend, Klinger, from death before a firing squad when he is kidnapped by commandos while vacationing in trouble-ridden Africa and held for nuclear ransom.

Harry and his crew find themselves face-to-face with an army prototype robot programmed to kill. The team helps out an amnesiac robot.

The lives of Harry, Skip and Melanie are threatened during a dangerous cross-country flight when the plane crashes.

Harry's experiment to reclaim oil from dried out wells results in an underground explosion and fire that could circle the earth, destroying everything in its path.

Skip and Melanie find themselves in danger when the people of a southern town turn against them.

A rival salvage company's attempt to tow an iceberg results in disaster.

Part Two. Harry and his salvage team risk their lives in an attempt to change the course of an iceberg headed on a collision course with San Francisco's shipping traffic.

Learning that a herd of wild horses are to be slaughtered as part of a government program to control their numbers, the Salvage team tries to round them up and sell them to a local police department that can use them for mounted patrols.

Skip convinces Harry to buy a race horse based on computer projections that it will be a winner, but when the horse breaks a leg in its first race, they try a high-tech solution using a NASA laser technique to mend the break.

When drought strikes a farm belonging to Harry's aunt and uncle in Arkansas, the Salvage team goes up in an old biplane to try to harvest rain from the clouds using a new method involving heating the air above them.

Harry has an ulterior motive in treating the gang to a trip to Hawaii. He wants to to excavate the side of a volcano in search of diamonds. But the volcano might not be as extinct as he thought.
