Ratings Roundup for the Week of March 1, 2020

ABC had a quiet week last week. Station 19 lost a tenth while Grey's Anatomy gained two tenths. The Rookie slipped a tenth, but will probably squeak a renewal. The Good Doctor and A Million Little Things were steady.

CBS was also workmanlike last week. Hawaii Five-0 lost a tenth from the previous week. NCIS: New Orleans lost a tenth as well. It's hard to say if the lower numbers are the result of a new night (Sunday instead of Tuesday) or if the loss of Lucas Black hit harder that the production team expected. All other shows were even with the previous week.

NBC had no surprises last week. The Voice held onto its premiere numbers on Monday. Chicago Med and Chicago PD each lost two tenths, Chicago Fire lost one tenth. Lincoln Rhyme managed to gain a tenth, but it's probably too little too late; the series is likely cancelled after its initial run. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist lost a tenth it couldn't afford, it's likely done as well along with Indebted. While Good Girls is in its third season, there will only be only forty-nine episodes when it ends this season. Since it runs short seasons, adding a fourth still won't get it into syndication territory. The numbers say it should be cancelled, however, the Peacock has had zero luck with it's new shows this season, Good Girls may see another year simply to fill gaps in the schedule.

FOX started the final run of episodes for Empire last week, unfortunately, the latest episode was down a tenth from its last new episode in December. LEGO Masters was down a tenth, but it should be renewed. Deputy lost a tenth; it's not looking good for this one. 9-1-1: Lone Star was even and should be an easy renewal. Duncanville lost another tenth, and is likely not going to see anything beyond its initial run. And the network officially cancelled Almost Family last week, in case there was still any doubt as to its future.

The CW ran a fair number of repeats last week. All-American was the highest rated show for the network last week, it ended up even with its previous week's stats. It has to sting a little that a rerun of Penn & Teller was the second highest rated program, and the show with the highest viewer numbers. Katy Keene found the 100,000 viewers it lost the previous week.

Super Tuesday coverage scrambled schedules last week, and there were a lot of reruns before ramping up for season/series finales and the last ratings push in May. How are your favorites doing?
