Dentistry student Josie arrives at university from a small-town community in Wales. Like Kingsley, she's anxious to embrace everything that student life has to offer. Although she's very sweet natured, she also has a fierce temper and is often prone to outbursts. At the end of series two, her lack of self-control gets her in real trouble; after turning up to a practical exam hungover, she drills through a patients cheek and ends up getting kicked off the course. She has something of a complicated relationship with Kingsley. Although they're attracted to each other, he's dating one of her friends.
