Married to Timothy and mother to two small children, Susan's husband doesn't know about her past as a code-breaker at Bletchley Park. Susan was the driving force behind getting the group of women together in the first series, but is now reluctant to be involved because of the potential danger it could cause to her family. Strong and intelligent, Susan is conflicted between following her instincts and helping to solve crimes and being a good wife and mother.
