Red hot headed Asuka is the opposite of cool blue headed Rei. Asuka is German, and brings with her a collaboration between Germany and Japan as well as her fancy new robot, and equally red hot headed Eva. Asuka moves in with Misato because of complications with Asuka's stepmother finding any excuse possible to disinherit her. Asuka does not know the secret of her Eva contains the reincarnation of her biological mother.
