When Alexander as student Arabic performed an exam with State Security, he was hired for his theoretical insight, his knowledge of Arabic and his discretion. It was just a question of time for State Security to offer him a job as expert in North-African politics. Alexander is married to Valerie. Together they have a 7-year old boy, The combination of a family and his job at state security isn't always a good one.
