Harry Senate

Harry Senate is a Geology teacher that was pulled out of class to teach Remedial Outreach. Despite objecting at first, he could be the perfect fit to teach the students as he is a Zombie. His Spirit is permanently damaged and goes about being very self destructive. Many times this teaching style is very successful, but not long after it backfires. He is very good friends with Native African Black Carribean And Chicano Juan Figgis. Juan picked many of Harry's styles. When Juan would not stop talking the same as Harry does, Harry smacked him up side the head several times with a homework packet. As Juan is a very healthy and confident student, he does not respond with violence. Juan decided to leave Boston Public as he needed to find work. Unfortunately, Harry intervened, and Juan and his family got deported before any more character development occurred. Harry is a complete idiot. He let a stereotypical student Dana Poole get way too close to him, which resulted in him being a victim of numerous extortion plots. Even so, he tried to intervene in her life when he found out that it is one big lie. She flaunts her lavish fashions by making money as a Stripper, more money than she would ever make ever again. Harry's guest lecturer is Ronnie, who later decides to be a full time teacher. Harry's attempts to rescue his students continue to fail as he is completely oblivious about them. Another family gets deported as the student is a prostitute in order to support her child. There are times that she and her child snuck in to his house and classroom. There is another time that a student was killed by a gang while he was alone. He helped a student get a job as a Medical Examiner. This student has a brother that dragged him to an armed robbery situation. His brother mercilessly killed the store clerk, and returned to kill Harry as well. Ronnie told the student that worked at The Morgue to stop listening to Harry before Harry makes even more mistakes. Harry barely survived the stabbing to his heart with his health continuing to decline. After numerous outbursts, he is forced on suspension. David E. Kelley said that if Boston Public was not canceled, he would ask actor Nicky Klatt to return.
