Anchor

Anchor Kaye is a Scottish presenter and radio host started her media career as a journalist trainee at Central Television in Birmingham.

After graduating from Edinburgh University, where she studied news politics and news journalism, she interviewed Margaret Thatcher as part of an award-winning documentary.

Kaye later worked on the evening news show Scotland Today, and was one of the first reporters on the scene of the Lockerbie disaster in 1998. She later hosted discussion show, Scottish Women, for six years from 1993.

In 1999 Kaye presented for the first ever Loose Women episode, alongside close friend and colleague Nadia Sawalha. The pair have even brought out a cookbook together, and regularly post videos to their YouTube channel.

Kaye currently hosts the morning show on BBC Radio Scotland.
