A dirt farmer living outside of Porter, Milo supplements his meager living by stealing from around the Porter hotel. When his son Gerald finds his secret stash of stolen loot, he goes to the hotel to stop his father and Hoby accidentally shoots Gerald dead, believing that he's the thief when the boy runs. Later, Milo tries to kill Hoby and admits that he's the thief. His wife Summer shoots him dead for getting their son killed.
