Fade owns a bar and acts as a contact between the Mutant Underground and those looking for a way to escape the U.S. His mutant ability lets him turn himself and others invisible.
Originally a member of the Mutant Underground, Fade joins the Inner Circle when the two groups go their separate ways. He puts his powers to use as an assassin for the Inner Circle. When the Underground members invade the Inner Circle high-rise, Fade attacks Reed and Caitlin shoots Fade, apparently killing him.
