Korra is a 17 year-old Waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe and the new Avatar of the World of Four Nations, following Avatar Aang. It is about 70 years after Aang's defeat of Phoenix King Ozai.Korra has mastered the elements of Water, Earth and Fire; she is studying Airbending under Tenzin, the youngest son of Aang and Katara. Korra rides a polar bear/dog named Naga.
