Maxine Pavich

Maxine Pavich is Harrow's boss and Director of the Queensland Institute of Forensic Medicine. Maxine oversees the effective day-to-day management of QIFM. She is highly experienced and well respected by those she works for, and those who work for her. She reports to the Deputy Coroner and the Director General of the Department of Health. And frustratingly, she runs interference when her senior pathologist Daniel Harrow makes waves. But damn, the guy gets results. And his enthusiasm to do the right thing by the victims appeals to Pavich, who used to be a pathologist herself. Fairley and her other pathologists are good and reliable, but Harrow is the man who actually makes the job worthwhile.
