The woman codenamed "Coyote" remained unseen and unidentified for years while executing a number of assassinations of major public figures, using a different MO each time. The Red Guard of Valence pay her $1 million to kill Princess Elaine. Her employer eventually gives up her name and role to the IMF, and they claim that they have researched Coyote's background and plan to make a movie about her career. To find out what they know, Coyote breaks into their warehouse base and ends up shooting Shannon but leaving traces of her perfume behind.
In her hospital bed, Shannon identifies Coyote as a woman from the scent of her perfume. Grant uses a laser spectroscope and the traces that Coyote left behind to try and identify her at a presentation. Coyote dresses as a man but inadvertently steps in the way of Grant's laser scanner. He finds the bomb that she planted to kill Elaine and tosses it out the windows, second after Coyote dives out of the same window to make her escape and is killed by her own bomb.
