With the world of baking going from strength to strength, the traditional Victoria sponge just isn't enough these days! In this programme, three amateur bakers battle against each other, and the clock, to create the most intricate and impressive birthday cake for a worthy recipient. Presenter Tim Rhys-Evans and professional baker Buddug Thomas follow all three contestants over 48 hours before they present their cakes.
