The Past A man, Reese Getty, wakes up in a hospital bed. The nurse welcomes him back to the land of the living, and Reese wonders what happened to him. The nurse says that he had a brush with death, and he asks if his wife is there. She tells him that he hasn't had any visitors, and Reese says that they've been having some trouble recently.
