Confident Emeka is experiencing nerves for the first time and wants to impress his senior consultant as he assists him in surgery on a patient with stomach cancer. Jess learns the hard way that night shifts bring a lot of responsibilities when she is left alone to deal with a 90-year-old woman who is struggling to breathe, while Jin Ha treats a homeless man.
