With social isolation one of the biggest problems for the elderly, and never more so than during the Christmas period, Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds reunites Hamish, Zina, Pat and David, residents of St Monica Trust, with some of their young friends, including Solomon, Nelson, Millie and Eva. The programme explores whether the older group are still showing signs of progress in mood, memory and mobility. Did the friendships with the children and their families develop further? For this festive special, the older adults and children have a brand new timetable full of seasonal fun and Christmas memories. And the clock is ticking with just two weeks to plan, prepare and perform a Christmas carol concert in front of an audience of over 100 people - from proud parents to specially invited guests from the local community.
