Wheeler dealers is a great series but sometimes they get it wrong e.g. They remove a foam air filter and replace it with a standard paper filter.
A foam filter is much more efficient at removing dirt than a paper or gauze filter. A foam filter will typically reduce the amount of dirt (silicon) in the oil by ~50%. A 50% reduction in circulating dirt will roughly double engine lifespan!

There are a lot more little tweaks that can significantly improve engines which it would be nice if Wheeler Dealers considered using?
