Arkansas, 1957 A young Kay Challis sits in her room working on a jigsaw puzzle. Her Daddy comes in and tells her to come give him a kiss. She tries to put him off but he warns her that he doesn't like to wait and Kay goes over to him. Now In Jane's subconscious--the Underground--Hammerhead drags Karen through the station as Jane's other personas look on.
