The Bureau of Normalcy activates Ernest Franklin, aka the Beard Hunter, to find the missing Niles. When Ernest eats a strand of Vic's facial stubble, he becomes a match for Cyborg. Meanwhile, Nobody explores Niles' past and the woman that he protects.

Northern Yukon Territory – 1913 Niles writes in his journal about his mission as part of the Bureau of Oddities, and how he's eager to prove what he's capable of. Niles' teammate Alastair Henderson checks his gun and reminds Niles that there are Turks in the area who aren't friendly.
