A former New York City Councilman finds his calling when he meets a group of immigrants in search of the American dream.
This was one show I was looking forward to this fall. However, I feel like the pilot was just okay. I just worry this is going to be too politically charged and preachy. I'm all for socially conscious and thought provoking television, but I kinda got bored with this. While I like the cast and was excited to see JKB in a series, I worry that this may not hang around long. I'll give it another couple weeks, though, to see how it expands past the pilot.
