Bill drives out to John's cabin, listening to the radio report about John's murder. He goes into the bedroom where Antonio is going over the coroner's file, and the ADA tells him what happened. Antonio notes that both of the dead robber's hands proved positive for powder, and Bill wonders who shot first.
