Young rising movie star Alisa Karetnikova is found bound and raped at a construction site. The girl's stepfather, Boris Semyonov, at first categorically refuses to cooperate with the police, but then gradually he is forced to agree to an investigation. According to Alisa, she was dragged to the construction site and held by strangers whom she met by chance on the street.
