Feeling guilty about sabotaging Vanessas job opportunity, Lucas works hard to find a way to help her. Realising theres little he can do, Lucas accepts his helplessness. But, when he witnesses the extremity of Vanessas financial woes, hes confronted by her reality and attempts to reach out by offering her money.
