The Moon approaches Piri, where the Guardian offers them an idyllic life if they abandon their home and join it. Only John realizes that Piri is a trap from which they may neve escape.

So in this idyllic state the men continued to wear their full uniforms (or maybe took off their tops), but the women all changed their uniforms for satiny teddy-style nighties? (eyeroll at that costume designer).
High marks for the set designer though, that did look wonderfully 'alien'.
Otherwise the episode was just not novel enough (pretty sure these themes (humankind's inclindation for escapism, ceding control to machines, false readings to lure travellers, etc.) were s already a Star Trek episode or two). Nor was their any explanation on why the captain was the ONLY person who did not fall under the spell.
