The Thunderians attempt to escape their captors, Mumm-Ra summons Hachiman and places a spell on him to make him believe that Lion-O is causing his great-uncle's spirit suffering. Meanwhile, Lion-O arrives at Fire Rock Mountain and is confronted by the bewitched Hachiman. After a breif fight, Hachiman manages to overcome the spell and saves Lion-O's life. The two then decide to work together to save the captured Thundarians.
