Manchester Cathedral

Dating back to the middle ages, the Grade I-listed building is undergoing a ú280,000 restoration, and Dave learns about the traditional methods used to repair the worn-out lead on the roof as well as uncovering some tricks of the building trade. On a trip around the cathedral, Dave explores the hidden gems and priceless documents housed there. He also takes a tour of one of the oldest public libraries in the UK, Chetham Library.
