Dead people have no right to privacy, so it's weird that they changed the family's name. I guess the production reached out to the surviving relatives to see if they'd participate, they refused and changed the names and details out of respect.
i was told they might not have had rights to use their real names so that makes sense now
i think its bs that they changed the names.. why the hell do that? let everyone know the true story and it was even changed too about the brother, he was found outside in the true story so its nuts to change it
So in this show they changed the names of the family the killer sons name is Eban McDowell not Steven miller if you look up Eban McDowell the same story pops up that I just watched on tv if you look up Steven miller you get nothing I wonder why they changed the names!!
