Brent Huff attended the University of Missouri as a theatre major, and H.B. Studios in New York City before moving to Hollywood to begin his professional career. He was an uncredited extra in the 1976 film King Kong, a high school basketball player in Coach, and landed his first major film role in the 1984 film The Perils of Gwendoline.
