Watanabe Anne is a Japanese fashion model and actress. In her modelling work, she is known by the mononym Anne. She is the daughter of film actor Watanabe Ken. Her brother, Watanabe Dai, is an actor as well. Anne's first high-profile modelling season was spring/summer 2006, in which she was featured in runway shows for Anna Sui, Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vivienne Tam, among others. Anne has been featured in print advertisements for Anna Sui and Nars Cosmetics.
In 2015, Anne married actor and model Higashide Masahiro and changed her name to Higashide Anne. On 16 May 2016, Watanabe gave birth to twin daughters. She has continued to use her mononym, Anne, for her work as an actress and model. On 7 November 2017, she gave birth to a son.
In January 2020, it was revealed that her husband and actress Karata Erika were having an affair for 3 years. On July 31, 2020, she and her husband officially divorced. She confirmed the divorce on August 1 where she also confirmed that she has custody of their 3 children.
