Johnny More

Johnny More was renowned for his wonderful singing voice, his immaculate timing, his hilarious facial expressions and wickedly funny observations on life.

His impressions of Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone, George Bush, Tony Blair and Frank Sinatra had audiences in stitches.

More made numerous TV and radio appearances, most famously in the 1970s quick-fire sketch show Who Do You Do with top impressionists of the day such as Peter Goodwright, Freddie Starr, Janet Brown and Russ Abbot.

He starred in 1985 sketch show Copycats, played Labour MP Neil Kinnock in 1980s TV series The New Statesmen, and mesmerised Princes Charles, Philip and Edward at various royal functions.
