Rex Hagon was born in 1947, to William and Corinne Hagon of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as the second of three children. His older brother Garrick Hagon is a prolific actor, on stage, screen and in audio form, while his younger sister June has spent her life working tirelessly in the field of medicine.
Rex started his career young, having appeared in small-scale productions since the age of 5. His first big break occurred when he landed the role of The Kid in Canada's Jake and the Kid. Following the series' conclusion, Rex appeared in the series The Forest Rangers as Peter Keeley.
Mr. Hagon completed his high school education at the elite private school Upper Canada College. Following his graduation from UCC, Rex enrolled at the University of Toronto and completed his Bachelor of Arts before returning to acting on a professional level.
Mr. Hagon and his first wife, Gail, raised two sons, Michael and Robert. He is currently married to Daphne and they have to more children, David and Julia.
