Neale was born in London, the United Kingdom, in 1962. He studied at Chatham House Grammar School and later on went to university at the University of Warwick. After leaving university in his early twenty's he has been career focused, putting a lot of hard work into pursuing his dreams.
Neale has a strong position in the interior world and uses this to influence designers in modern and luxury designs. His magazine, Belle, has a large influence on designers, presenting modern interiors and new trends from Australia and around the world.
Neale has influenced designers to be innovative and passionate about their designs. The advice he gives to designers is: ''go with your gut, your heart and your soul." Neale's advice is aimed at encouraging designers to go with what they feel is right and choose their designs based on their inner thoughts and desires. His quote is showing designers that good ideas come from the inner thoughts and feelings of the designer and not just the influence of the people.
