Mirela Rupic

American costume and fashion designer Mirela Rupic is a San Diego home-girl with great potential. Born in 1967 in California, Rupic loved drawing and fashion from as early as her teenager years. She enjoyed the support of both of her parents, who quickly noticed her talent for this kind of art. She later enrolled at the Woodbury University in San Diego, where she launched her first collection. Earning a Bachelor's Degree and opening up to the fashion world in the early 90's meant you had to have individuality, interesting designs filled with asymmetric lines and a lot of opportunities.

In the late 90's Mirela Rupic has shifted her focus to the movie industry, by being a costume designers. She later became recognized as one one of the youngest costume designers with an award for her contribution. In that period, she worked under the leadership of Milena Canonero, one of the most famous Italian costume designers. One her first successes was the work in 1999's Fight Club, which was highly praised by the film critics.

Working on many other Hollywood-grade movie titles only strengthened her reputation in the 2000's. On tvmaze, she is known as the lead costume designer for the TV Series Chuck. Other titles include Damages, Chicago Fire and Inside Amy Schumer...
