Jamie Effros

Jamie Effros is an award-winning, Brooklyn-based actor, writer, director, and voice-over actor, known for On (2019), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and Great Wide Open (2018). He has been creating, performing, and consulting in independent theater, film, episodic work, and comedy in New York for 15 years. The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Village Voice have featured his immersive and experimental theater work. His voice-over work includes hundreds of commercial credits and narrating acclaimed television shows for Discovery, National Geographic, PBS, and many others. Jamie currently serves as a creative director for Collective Agency, a network of media professionals providing digital content-creation and strategy for activist groups, progressive non-profits, and candidates. He graduated from Brown University's Modern Culture and Media program and was born and raised in Clifton, VA.
