Lawrence Benedict

Lawrence Benedict is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and a veteran of The Stratford Shakespearean Festival of Canada. He stars in The Collaborators, Canadian Police Series, was a principal player in the Festival de Cannes Selection "In Girum Imus Nocte and has starred in over forty two mainstage productions. In Los Angeles he acted in most night-time and daytime dramas and recently starred as The Old Cowboy in the movie Riding Through Life with Love by my Side, A Gary Winstead Film. He starred as Ross Turner in the Canadian epic, The Far Shore, and Rocky 4 as The Reporter. After starting his own production company, Angus Lake Productions, he edited trailers for Disney and feature films, one of which, Forgiving the Franklins, became a Sundance Selection. Continuing to perform on stage, he was a member of the MiMoDa dance and Improv troop and currently performs improv with Improv for the People in Los Angeles. He is the published author of three books, including the soon to be released book on acting theory, Sculpting Thought, Acting for the 21st Century. The Collaborators has aired in almost every country world-wide it keeps on going!
