Born in Sheffield (UK), Dave moved to Canada in 1987, returning to the UK in 2006. Dave has worked extensively in UK & Canadian TV, Film, Theatre and Radio.
TV : Most recently appeared in "Coronation St" as Gordon (ITV 2022), "Doctors" (BBC Dec 2021), "Emmerdale" (ITV 2020). Appeared in "Girlfriends" (ITV 2018) and playing brother to Sean Bean in "Broken" for BBC (2017), Crime Drama "In The Dark" (BBC 2017), and animated sitcom "Sticky" for BBC 3. Multiple episodes of UK soaps "Coronation Street" and "Emmerdale." Appearances in popular TV shows "Law & Order: UK," "A Touch of Frost," "The Royal Today" and ITV drama "Homefront." Leading roles in comedy pilots "The Unknown Stuntman" (written by/starring Paddy McGuinness) and the Yorkshire soccer comedy, "Everything But The Ball."
FILM : "Destination Dewsbury" (2019), leading roles in the movies "Pandora" (Due 2022), and "The Zombie King" (2013), and in the award-winning short film "Scummy Man" which was re-edited as a pop video for The Arctic Monkeys song "When The Sun Goes Down."
Dave makes his own films, is a freelance editor, a voiceover artist, Ukulele and Bass Guitar player, and is a member of the popular parody band, "The Yorkshire Teabaggers." Father of three children, Benjamin, Sophie and Joseph.
