Allison Munn was born in Columbia, South Carolina. As a youngster, Allison studied dance, worked on voice lessons, and appeared in some local plays. Eventually Allison moved to New York City to study acting, and joined several off-Broadway plays (including "The Fantasticks" and "The Wild Party"). Following the dream of many attractive young women before her, Allison followed her acting desire to California. Allison soon thereafter began to appear on That ‘70s Show as Fez's girlfriend Caroline, before moving on to land her own starring role on What I Like About You (and occasionally reappearing as Caroline on That ‘70's Show).
