IB Melchior

IB Melchior was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He later moved to America and became a novelist, he also wrote short stories, was a film producer, film director and he did screenwriting of low budget science fiction films. The majority of the films he worked on were released by American International Pictures. He was the screenwriter of the classic science fiction film 'Robinson Crusoe on Mars' (1964) which starred the late Adam West in the lead role. He also co-wrote the screenplay for the Danish film 'Reptilicus' (1961) which is a favorite of many science fiction movie fans.
