Tom started his career as a screenwriter before giving in to the voice acting bug. As a 20-year member of the WGA, he served as a TV staff writer, sold pilots to companies such as Paramount, MTV and Nickelodeon, and wrote a few features.
But in 2008 Tom created the wild reality competition show "Hurl" for MTV & G4… which he also hosted and narrated. Voicing the edgy and satirical reality show send-up — which the New York Times called "quixotically brave" — gave Tom a firm push into the voice acting world.
Since then he's been busy with commercial VO, lent his voice to promos and sizzle reels, and served 5 seasons as narrator of HGTV's "You Live in What?"
Tom's voice is warm and friendly, the guy next door who inspires trust and confidence. It lives in the mid to lower register and is versatile enough to go from light and playful to cool Gen X-er to gruff-voiced cowboy. Tom also does a mean Voice of Sauron.
Tom has recorded VO in the USA, UK and the Netherlands because he loves traveling and sees no reason to stop acting while he's exploring the world.
