Born in San Antonio, Texas, Katie Leclerc began her career with a guest appearance on Veronica Mars in 2005. She is best known for her long running role as Daphne Vasquez in Switched at Birth. She started leaning American Sign Language at 17, before she was diagnosed with Ménière's disease.
