Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert is a well-known American Country Music singer and songwriter from Texas. Her father ran a private investigation agency with her mother and sang for a country-rock band called 'Contraband.' Young Miranda started singing for the 'Texas Pride Band' when she was in high school and was given an audition in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 16. However, she preferred country music to pop and took to playing the guitar and writing her own songs. She has six studio albums and one individual album to her credit. A two time Grammy Award winner, she has also won the Cover Girl' Fresh Face of Country Music Award' and is the first female artist to win the Country Music Association Award for 'Album of the Year' twice. Miranda Lambert holds the record of winning the ACM Award for 'Female Vocalist of the Year' for eight consecutive years. She has appeared in a couple of television serials, including 'Law & Order' and endorsed products like 'Cotton Inc.' Her marriage to fellow country singer, Blake Shelton, lasted for four years (May 14, 2011 - July 20, 2015). She married Brendan McLoughlin on January 26, 2019. Today she is counted as one of the top contemporary country singers.
