Eileen Li was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Chinese immigrant parents. At the age of 4 she and her family moved to Toronto, Ontario where she currently resides. At a young age she showed interest in visual arts and music before finally sticking to the dramatic arts. After initially attending the University of Waterloo for a degree in kinesiology, she decided to pursue her passion instead, and finished with a degree in the dramatic arts. Since then she's gone on to perform in various theatre festivals including Factory Theatre's production of Tough at the 2010 Magnetic North Theatre Festival. She also toured in her hometown of Winnipeg with a production of Offensive Fouls with The Manitoba Theatre for Young Audiences/Hustle N Bustle Theatre.
