Adam Gordon Thomas (born 11 August 1988), is an English actor born in the city of Manchester. He is best known for playing the roles of Donte Charles in the BBC drama Waterloo Road and Adam Barton in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.
Adam is the younger brother of Ryan Thomas who gained fame as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street. He has a fraternal twin brother, Scott, who appeared in Love Island in 2016. Adam is in a relationship with long term girlfriend, Caroline Daly. On 8 September 2014, Adam became a father to a baby boy, named Teddy James Thomas. Adam proposed to Caroline on the beach during a family holiday to Dubai at the end of April. The couple took part in All Star Mr & Mrs in August 2016.
