Born in New York City, Lucy DeVito grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from Brown University with a degree in theater, and then headed back to Hollywood. She began her career in 2005, with an uncredited role in This Revolution, and in 2006 made a cameo appearance on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia alongside her father Danny DeVito.
