Veena Sood

Veena Sood is an award-winning actress, internationally recognized for her versatility in both comedy and drama. She was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to parents of Punjabi descent and immigrated to Canada when she was seven years of age. Veena grew up in the Canadian Rockies where she developed a passion for horseback riding and skiing. She was a competitive rodeo participant when she was younger. She has a theatre degree in Drama and went on to co-found The Loose Moose Theatre Company with improv master Keith Johnstone. Veena has appeared in plays, films, television series, and continues to perform her improvisation shows. She continues to live in the mountains in Vancouver, Canada.
