Peter Gadiot is a British actor. He was born Alan Peter Gadiot Nava on 2 January 1985 in England, raised in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and educated in London. His father is Dutch, and his mother is Mexican. He speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Gadiot is a naturalized Mexican, and a citizen of the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Gadiot portrayed the role of James Valdez in the USA Network show Queen of the South. He also played Cyrus in ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and Adam in Showtime's Yellowjackets. Additionally, Gadiot appears as Shanks in Netflix's series One Piece, and as Tom Westfall in the second season of NBC's Quantum Leap.
