Nat Zang was born and raised in Seattle Washington as the middle of three children. He caught the acting bug early and by the age of 12 was cast in his first professional stage production at Seattle's ACT theater. He has participated in theater around the greater Seattle area in both large stage (5th Avenue, ACT) and educational stage productions (Village Theatre, ArtsWest).
In 2014, after seeing him in the 5th Avenue's Rising Star Project production of Spamalot, a Talent Agent suggested that Nat submit a taped audition for Syfy's latest show, Z Nation. He was just weeks away from graduating high school and had secured a place in Texas State University's Musical Theatre Program for the fall. Nat's tape got him an in-person audition with the Casting Director and the rest is history!
In addition to his work on stage and screen Nat is very involved in continued Actor training. He enjoys reading works of classical philosophers and contemporary US novelists and dabbles in the visual arts and music.
