American born Allison Balson began her acting career at the age of five as a child model for major department stores and clothing companies, going on to appear in national commercials, notably the Vivitar camera commercial with Orson Welles. Now primarily a folk singer/songwriter, she was likely best known for her role as Nancy Oleson on Little House of the Prairie.
