Rain Elwood (born Egija Zviedre in Riga, Latvia) is a Latvian actress. She moved from Riga to London, to pursue a career in acting. Elwood received media attention in her home country for playing the lead female role in "Beethoven Burst" a musical short film by Ankit Love, that became a No.1 hit on the MTV Hive top 100 chart. She was again on MTV in March 2012, playing the lead in "Drowning" an underwater music video by Context MC. She also plays the principle female part, an oligarch's daughter inDJ Smash's theatrical music video "From Russia With Love". Her modeling work includes playing the Bond girl in a Hello! Magazine photo shoot with British TV star Mark Wright as James Bond at the Ritz Hotel Casino in London. Elwood has been the face ofPuredistance, an ultra luxury perfume brand that retails for up to €1,600 a bottle. In Heineken's "The Express" commercial made for the James Bond film Skyfall, Elwood plays a featured part alongside Daniel Craig.
In 2013, Rain made her prime time television debut in Cinemax's Strike Back acting alongside Sullivan Stapleton.
